1. Affidavit of service, as filed, be kept with the record. CAN 1 of 2025

2. This is an application for restoration of WPA 9474 of 2024, by recalling the order dated 13.01.2025, by which the writ-petition was dismissed for default by a Coordinate Bench.

3. Sufficient grounds have been shown in the petition to recall such order of dismissal.

4. Thus, the order dated 13.01.2025 is recalled and WPA 9474 of 2024 is restored to its original file and number.

5. The application being CAN 1 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.

This writ petition has been filed seeking expeditious adjudication by the respondent no. 2 of an application made by the petitioner under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (in short, the said Act) was made by the petitioner/Bank before the respondent no. 2 on 04.08.2021.

7. The statutory mandate under the said Act is that the

P a g e | 2 concerned authority should dispose of such application within a period of thirty days and upon extension within 60 days.

8. This time has long lapsed. No steps have been taken by the respondent no. 2, to dispose of the application.,

9. The respondent no. 2 is directed to dispose of the said application filed under Section 14 of the said Act by 15.01.2026.

10. With the afore-stated directions, WPA 9474 of 2024 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
