Mr. Arijit Ganguly Mrs. Manisha Sharma .....For the State The present revisional application was preferred challenging the continuance of Haroa Police Station Case No.95 of 2021 dated 21.03.2021 under Sections 420/ 406 of the Indian Penal Code. The order dated 22.04.2021 reflects that the Co-ordinate Bench while considering the same was pleased to observe that the investigation was continuing and, as such, the prayer for interim order in respect of restraining the investigation was refused. Having regard to the fact that the investigation commenced in the year 2021 and more than two years have passed since then, I am of the opinion that the present case do not call for any interference at this belated stage. The issues so canvassed by the petitioners can be advanced at the stage of consideration of charges or in course of the trial.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mrs. Manisha Sharma, learned advocate who ordinarily represents on behalf of the State is directed to represent the case on behalf of the State. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned authority.

With this above observation, C.R.R. 1180 of 2021 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
