State and the private opposite party are represented. It appears from the petition filed that the petitioner seeks quashing of the criminal complaint registered as FIR No. 800 of 2024 dated October 6, 2024 with the Ranaghat Police Station. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that police filed a charge sheet. Moreover, there are injury reports of the defacto complainant.

Apparently, the defacto complainant was staying on her own. The petitioner apparently assaulted the defacto complainant. There are injury reports substantiating such claim.

In such circumstances, I find no ground to quash the criminal case. The police complaint makes out case for taking

cognizance. Police took the complaint and registered the complaint as FIR and submitted charge sheet.

C.R.R. 1732 of 2025, is therefore, dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
