CAN 1 of 2020 (Old No. CAN 5173 of 2020) is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner will approach the Civil Court, if necessary, to protect his civil rights. The police should ensure that no breach of peace occurs at the locale.

Learned advocate for the State submits that, they inquired into the complaint lodged by the petitioner and instituted a prosecution under Section 107/116(c) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

In such circumstances, the police having taken

steps as noted above, no further interference is called for. W.P.A. 6495 of 2020 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
