The petitioner and the respondent no.11 seek mutual transfer from Paschim Bardhaman District to Purba Bardhaman District.

This Court is of the view that subject to ascertaining the willingness of the respondent no.11 and complying with any other formalities, the West Bengal Board of Primary Education may take a suitable decision in the matter within a period ten weeks from date in terms of the applicable Rules. The DPSCs/DIs concerned shall forward all papers of service of the petitioner and the respondent no. 11 including the information whether the applicants have been confirmed by the WBBPE forthwith. The decision shall be taken offline.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The petitioner shall serve a copy of the writ petition to the DPSCs and the Board along with a copy of this order.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
