1. In view of the injury report contained in the case diary showing that grievous injury was inflicted upon the victim and the statements of eye-witness and injured victim implicating the present petitioner and another, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

2. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

3. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
