The learned counsel for the State is present. The present revision has been preferred praying for expeditious hearing of the proceeding being S.T. No. 75 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2011 of 2021 arising out of A.J.C. Bose B. Garden P.S. Case No. 48 of 2021 dated 21.04.2021 under Sections 341/326/307/195A/506/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 4th Court, Howrah. The learned counsel for the petitioner who is the victim and also a witness in the said proceeding before the Trial Court has preferred the present revision.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed copies of the order-sheets of the Trial Court to show the status of the present case.

It appears that the proceeding in the present case was initiated in the year 2021 but till date the victim/petitioner herein has not been examined by the Trial Court.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that considering such conduct the petitioner is being seriously prejudiced and has prayed for necessary relief. Considering the nature of the proceeding before the Trial Court and the fact that six witnesses have already been examined, the Trial Court is directed to make all efforts to complete the Trial of the proceeding in the case preferably within a year from the date of communication of this order without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either sides. The learned counsel appearing for the State shall communicate with the learned Public Prosecutor of the District to ensure that the matter is disposed of as directed by this Court.

The present revisional application is accordingly disposed of.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
