This writ petition was preferred seeking a direction upon the respondent no.3 to place the departmental nominee to complete the reconstitution of the Managing Committee of the school concerned. From the writ petition, it transpires that the election of the members of the Managing Committee from guardian category was held on 7th October, 2007.

I am of the view that by efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous.

In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied as expeditiously as possible. (Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, J.)
