In connection with GR case no. 20 of 2025 Kotwali police station case no. 3 of 2025 dated 2.1. 2025 alleging therein the commission of an offence punishable under Section 126(2)/115(2)/117(2)/109/351(2) of BNS.

1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The incident was a result of scuffle between two friends. No grievous injury was caused.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and refers to the statements of an eye-witness, the injured witness and the injury report. It appears that the injury was caused with the iron bangle present in the hand of the accused.

3. In view of the materials available in the case diary and the fact that charge-sheet has already been submitted, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local,

to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioner shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
