Petitioner submits no witness was examined since September, 2023. Accordingly, he prays for bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. She submits trial is at its fag end. Last prosecution witness i.e. Investigating Officer is proposed to be examined on 4th June, 2024.

In view of the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the State, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
