Petitioner assails an order dated January 27, 2025 passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate at Barasat in connection with the Complaint Case No. C/2014/2024 under Section 175(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that Cyber Crime Police Station blocked a sum of Rs.3000/- as will appear from E-mail dated May 5, 2024.

By the impugned order, learned Judge found that no cognizable offence was committed for the complaint to be carried on.

Apparently, the allegation is that a total sum of Rs.10,000/- was taken for the purpose of providing service for air conditioner. The issues still remain as to whether or not the

service was performed. Apparently, there are elements of civil disputes involved also.

In such circumstances, I find no irregularity in the impugned order warranting interference.

C.R.R. 1736 of 2025 is dismissed.
