Mr. Arkaprava Sen.......for applicant Mr. Neil Basu.......for alleged contemner no. 1 Mr. T.M. Siddique....for alleged contemner no. 2 Mr. Sen, learned advocate appears on behalf of applicant and submits, there was appeal preferred against order dated 16th March, 2020 by which his client's writ petition was dealt with. That appeal was disposed of by judgment dated 3rd March, 2021. Mr. Basu, learned advocate appears on behalf of alleged contemner no. 1 and submits, said order was modified by appeal Court. Mr. Siddique, learned advocate, Senior Government Advocate appears on behalf of alleged contemner no. 2.

Order dated 16th March, 2020 was modified will be apparent from paragraph 22 of appellate Court's judgment dated 3rd March, 2021. Paragraph 22 is reproduced below:

"22. With the aforesaid directions the appeal and the connected applications are disposed of. There will be no order as to costs."

Said order dated 16th March, 2020 merged in the appellate judgment. As such, if there is violation, it will be of directions in the appellate order. By reason of above, the contempt application is disposed of.
