Heard Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

Mr. Kabir, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner's daughter previously went missing on and from 5th June, 2022. The complaint lodged by the petitioner's father was registered as Patashpur PS Case No.326/22 dated 5th June, 2022 under Sections 363/366/34 of IPC. In course of investigation, the victim girl was recovered and upon completion of such investigation, charge-sheet was also filed being charge-sheet no.300/22 dated 22nd June, 2022 under Sections 363/366/34 of IPC. The petitioner's daughter again went missing on and from 1st March, 2023. A complaint lodged by the petitioner's father was registered as Patashpur PS Case No.78/23 dated 5th March, 2023 under Sections 363/365/34 of IPC. Alleging that no steps have been taken by the police authorities to recover the victim girl, the present petition has been preferred.

Mr. Kabir submits that in course of investigation in the present case, the victim girl was ultimately recovered on 25th April, 2023 and she is presently staying at Antyodoy Anath Ashram, Pausi, PS - Bhupatinagar, Dist - Purba Medinipur. Let the documents, as submitted, be kept on record.

As the victim girl has already been recovered, no further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order if applied for, be made over to the parties as expeditiously as possible.
