In view of the innocuous nature of the prayer, fresh service is not being directed on the State.

The petitioners and the private respondents are represented by counsel.

The affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record.

Taking into consideration the pendency of the concerned application before the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, WPLRT No. 78 of 2026 is disposed of by requesting the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal to dispose of MA No. 1227 of 2025, pending in connection with OA No. 547 of 2025 (LRTT), as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two months from the date of communication of this order to the said Tribunal.

It is expected that thereafter OA No. 547 of 2025 (LRTT) shall also be taken up expeditiously by the Fourth

Bench, West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, where the said original application is pending, and be disposed of within four months after the disposal of MA No. 1227 of 2025.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
