CRAN 4266 of 2020) In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with NCB Crime No. 06/NCB/Kol/2018 dated 01.02.2018 under Section 21(c) of the NDPS Act.

And In Re : Chhalauddin Biswas @ Shanti .... petitioner Mr. Habibur Rahaman ....for the petitioner Mr. Y. J. Dastoor, Mr. Uttam Basak ...... for the NCB Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

Accordingly, application being CRAN 1 of 2020 (old no. CRAN 4266 of 2020 is disposed of.

Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in dealing in narcotic substance which is above commercial quantity and as his prayer for bail was rejected earlier, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
