The petitioner complains of police inaction.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, the private respondent as the promoter is stacking building materials in front of the property belonging to the petitioner and is trying to encroach upon the land belonging to the petitioner. The police are inactive despite complain. Learned advocate for the State submits that, the police inquired into the complaint of the petitioner and found that the disputes are civil in nature between the two private individuals.

In the facts of the present case, the petitioner allege that the private respondent is trying to encroach upon the land belonging to the petitioner and that the private

respondent is stacking building materials near the gate of the petitioner. The allegations give rise to disputes which are civil in nature. The petitioner is at liberty to avail of her remedy before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law. A Writ Court need not enter into the area of civil disputes between private individuals.

W.P.A. 9910 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
