As many as fifty petitioners in this writ petition allege that their dwelling houses in the Mathurapur-II Block, South 24 Parganas were destroyed by cyclones at different points of time. They seek financial assistance from the State Government for re-construction of their houses. 2.

It appears that the petitioners are yet to file individual application seeking assistance.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to make appropriate individual application ventilating their grievances.

In the event the State Government has any scheme pursuant to which compensation can be granted, then the petitioners' applications may be considered in the light of such scheme.

If the petitioners are ultimately found eligible in any of the prevailing schemes for receiving financial assistance, then necessary steps for disbursement of funds shall be taken by the respondents at the earliest.

With the above, the writ petition stands disposed

of.

Affidavit of service filed in court be taken on record.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
