Mr. Basu, learned advocate for the petitioner presently restricts his submission over the issue of expeditious disposal of trial.

Having regard to the fact that the police station case was registered in the year 2013 and more than seven years have passed, I am of the view that steps must be taken by the learned court below for expediting the progress of the case.

As submitted by the learned advocates appearing on behalf of the respective parties that two of the witnesses have already been examined. So far as the charge-sheet which has been submitted, the list of the witnesses reflect that another five witnesses are yet to be examined. The next date which has been fixed by the trial court is on 27th January, 2022. Having regard to the same, this court feels that on and from January, 2022, the learned court would fix the trial of the case on each and every month so that the trial can be concluded by the end of January, 2023.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 943 of 2015 is disposed of. All pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
