Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of some of the accused persons being discharged, no notice was served upon the petitioner so that she could take effective steps before the jurisdictional court concerned.

Accordingly, State was directed to submit a report to confirm whether any notice has been served upon the de facto complainant or not.

State has submitted a report today which reflects that investigation of the case is still in progress and a supplementary charge-sheet would be submitted by the investigating agency very soon. As soon as the supplementary charge-sheet is submitted, it has been contended by the concerned officer of Kamarhati Police Station that information would be furnished to the de facto complainant.

Since the police authorities are taking steps and the investigation is not yet complete as is revealed from the report, the petitioner, if she is further aggrieved, would be at liberty to approach this Court after submission of the supplementary charge-sheet.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 9536 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
