Leaned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that no acid was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner and the de facto complainant were in a relationship. The petitioner was falsely implicated. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the seizure list, the statement of the de facto complainant and the other materials in the case diary. Learned Advocate appearing for the de facto complainant submits that the petitioner threatened the de facto complainant with acid attack on the social media platform on the day before the incident. He submits that the petitioner is also threatening the de facto complainant on the social media platform.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

CRM (DB) 1263 of 2022 is rejected.
