Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of directions of the executive authorities, no steps have been taken by the police authorities for implementing the order.

State has submitted a report which reflects that for a long period of time the dispute had been continuing. However, the SDM, Chanchal, Malda has been pleased to issue an order to remove the encroachment and ensure the possession of the petitioner over the land and the BL & LRO, Ratua 1 was ordered to assist by providing an Amin. In view of the directions, without police assistance, according to the petitioner, the same could not be effected. The

police authorities in their report have sought for some time for implementing the same.

In view of the prayer so advanced, the Inspector-in-Charge, Ratua Police Station would ensure that within a period of 60 days the direction of the SDM, Chanchal, Malda be carried out.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8778 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
