Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the victim married another person.
Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code and also to a report. She submits that the victim is presently married to another person.
The police case is of 2020. The petitioner is absconding since then. The statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code implicates the petitioner. Consequently, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 2141 of 2022 is dismissed.
