Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 61⁄2 months. Charge sheet has been submitted and there was existing relationship between the present petitioner who is more than 17 years but less than 18 years.

I have considered the contents of the statement of the minor recorded under section 183 of BNSS. Having regard to the proposition of law I am of the opinion that the petitioner be released on bail after the evidence of the victim is recorded by the learned trial court.

With the above observation, CRM (M) 963 of 2026 is disposed of.
