The petitioner who is the de facto complainant in Basirhat P.S. Case No.799 of 2023 dated 27th November, 2023 seeks cancellation of bail of the private opposite parties on the ground that after being released on bail, the private opposite parties have lodged several cases against the petitioner.

Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It appears that the present complaint has been lodged under Section 447/427/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The offences are bailable. Also, lodging of subsequent complaints by the private opposite parties can under no circumstances be a ground for cancellation of their bail granted in a case pertaining to bailable offences.

The present application is devoid of any merit and is accordingly dismissed.
