C.A.N. 5276 of 2020 is an application for urgent hearing of the writ petition and is disposed of by taking up the writ petition for consideration. There are disputes between the petitioners and the private respondent with regard to the functioning of a petrol pump. The oil company issued few show cause notices. The last of the show cause notices is dated June 15, 2020. The oil company is yet to arrive at a final decision on the show cause notice.

The oil company and the private respondent are represented.

It would be open to the petitioners and the private respondent to participate in the show cause proceedings initiated by the oil company. The petitioners and the private respondent are at liberty to respond to the show cause notice within seven days from date.

The oil company will take a decision on such show cause notice after affording the petitioners and the private respondents an opportunity of hearing. The oil company will pass a reasoned order and will communicate the same to the parties forthwith. Oil company is at liberty to hear such other persons and consider such other documents that, it deems fit and appropriate. It is expected that the entire exercise is concluded within a period of four weeks from date.

W.P.A. 6529 is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
