Mr. Swapan Kumar Datta Mr. Tapas Kr. Dey ......for the State The writ petition is for a direction on the respondent being the Registrar of Firms, Societies and Non-Trading Organizations, Bidhannagar from giving any effect to a letter dated 20th March, 2020.

Learned counsel for the concerned respondents who issued the impugned letter dated 20th March, 2020 submits that the concerned respondent will accept the annual and other returns of the Society (the concerned Society is represented by writ petitioner nos. 1, 2 and 3 as is office bearers) and that the writ petition can be disposed of on this basis.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not have any objection to the same.

On considering the impugned letter which forms a subject matter of the dispute, it appears that the entire

controversy relates to the respondent no.2, not accepting the annual and other returns of the Society.

Since the concerned respondent has changed its position and has indicated his willingness to accept the annual and other returns of the Society at this point of time, noting remains of the controversy any more. WPA 6530 of 2020 along with CAN 5282 of 2020 are disposed of in terms of the above.

The concerned respondent will accept the annual and other returns of the petitioner within a period of five weeks from date of the communication of this order. [[ (Moushumi Bhattacharya, J.)
