The Boat belonging to the petitioner was submerged on 23rd June, 2020 at the Shantipur side of the river Ganges in the District of Nadia and a labour of the said boat was found dead.
The petitioner is complaining that the police authorities are not investigating the complaint of the petitioner properly and are also not taking any steps to recover the boat.
Mr.
Sabir Ahamed, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State, submits that the said boat has already been recovered and the same has been handed over to the petitioner. He further submits an unnatural death case has been registered for the death of the said labour.
The complaint of the petitioner has been taken care of therefore no further order need be passed in the present writ petition.
With the above WPA 6534 of 2020 along with the connected application being CAN 1 of 2020 (Old CAN 5292 of 2020) are disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
