The report reflects that the petitioners left their house in the year for reasons which have been assigned in the police report.

The petitioners, presently, intend to return to their house. However, they are

feeling insecure because of the attitude of the villagers.

Be that as it may, if there is no specific criminal case against the present petitioners and they intend to return to their house, the police authorities would ensure their entry at the residence.

The petitioners would inform 48 hours ahead to the Officer-in-charge of Bhupatinagar Police Station, who would provide appropriate police assistance required.

In case, there is any law and order crisis, the concerned officer-in-charge would take appropriate steps in such a manner that confidence is instilled in the mind of the petitioners so far as the issue relating to their security is concerned.

With the aforesaid observations,

WPA 8858 of 2023 along with WPA 25803 of 2023 is disposed of.

Let a copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioners.
