It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that though they had filed a police complaint, the police authorities have not taken any action in the matter. Counsel on behalf of the State submits that appropriate action has already been taken and a First Information Report has also been filed under Sections 420/406/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the State respondents nothing survives in this writ petition.

In view of the above, W.P. 6553(W) of 2020 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The police authorities are directed to take expeditious steps in accordance with law.
