In her statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the injured states that, the petitioner no. 1 tried to stab him and by reason of him trying to stab him, he suffered wound at his back.

In view of the petitioners being involved in an incident of assault where the victim suffered grievous hurt, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1585 of 2023 is dismissed.
