This application has been filed by one Shreya Banerjee being Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, West Bengal who was the respondent No. 3 in the original writ petition being WPA 8491 of 2022 for showing mercy on her conduct against which some adverse observation was made by this Court in the order dated 17th May, 2022.

On perusal of the aforesaid application it appears that she is repentant about her conduct and assuring not to repeat such type of misconduct in future, this application being CAN 1 of 2022 in WPA 8491 of 2022 is disposed of by modifying the part of the order dated 17th May, 2022 to the extent that such adverse observation should not be taken into consideration for the purpose of her service record.
