The present revisional application has been preferred praying for quashing and/or setting aside of the proceedings GR Case No. 695 of 2019 arising out of Hanskhali Police Station Case No. 167 of 2019 dated 29.04.2019 under Sections 341/323/325/307/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Sections 3/4 of the Explosive Substances Act, 1908 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Ranaghat, Nadia.

It is the contention of the petitioner that he was not aware of the proceedings in the present case and as such warrant of arrest has been issued by the trial court on 18.08.2022 and the execution of warrant of arrest is still pending. It is admitted that the petitioner had prayed for anticipatory bail, which has been rejected by the High Court.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has brought the notice of this court to an order dated 10.07.2019 passed by the learned ACJM, Ranaghat, wherein it appears that a compromise petition on affidavit has been filed before the trial Court.

Considering the said facts and the materials on record, the petitioner herein is directed to surrender before the learned Trial Court within 10 days from the date of this order and pray for regular bail, which the learned Trial Court shall consider keeping in mind the compromise petition filed on affidavit before the Court on 10.07.2019 and considering the same shall decide the prayer for bail of the petitioner in accordance with law. The warrant of arrest issued be stayed till 30.06.2025. In case the petitioner fails to surrender as directed the order of stay of the warrant of arrest shall stand automatically vacated.

CRR 1742 of 2025 stands disposed of.
