This is an application praying for expeditious disposal of a proceeding in which charge sheet was submitted under Sections 465, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 12 of the Passports Act. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. Although the FIR was registered in August, 2017 and the charge sheet was also submitted in December, 2017, yet even the charges could not be framed till date. The petitioner has been attending the Court regularly.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that it will be in the interest of justice if the proceeding is expeditiously disposed of. I have heard the submissions of the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and have perused the revision petition. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, I request the learned Trial Court to decide the issue of framing of charge as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from this date and thereafter dispose of the proceeding as expeditiously as possible.

With these observations, the revisional application and the connected application are disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be given to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
