Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners seek payment and issuance of completion certificate on account of work performed in terms of the work order issued.

Such prayer of the petitioners is pending consideration at the end of the respondent authority for a considerable period of time.

As the representation is pending consideration at the end of the authority, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the writ petition pending.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 to take a decision upon considering the representation filed by the petitioners praying for release of payment and issuance of completion certificate. In the event, the claim of the petitioners is found to be proper, necessary steps for releasing payment and issuance of completion certificate shall be taken immediately thereafter. Steps shall be taken by the aforesaid respondent at the earliest but positively within a

period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It will be open for the aforesaid respondent to verify documents with regard to the claim of the petitioners regarding satisfactory completion of work. If required, an opportunity of hearing may be given to the petitioners and all other necessary parties to ascertain facts.

Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 19th September, 2024 along with all documents in support of the claim to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court. 8.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
