In the circumstances, the order dated June 5, 2023 is hereby recalled and W.P.A. No. 8888 of 2023 is restored to its original file and number.

With the directions aforesaid, CAN 1 of 2023 is disposed of.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the writ petition at the office of the learned senior Advocate, Ministry of Law & Justice, Department of Legal Affairs, 11, Strand

Road, Kolkata - 700 001 and a proof of service be filed on the adjourned date of hearing.

From the Affidavit of Service affirmed on July 13, 2023, it appears that the Food Corporation of India (FCI) has already been served.
