The grievance of the petitioner is that he is not getting the revised pension under ROPA 2019 despite exercising his option more than once as appears from pages 21 and 26 of the writ petition. However, the Teacher-in-Charge and the Assistant Headmaster of the school by a letter dated 23.03.2021 intimated him that despite several requests made to him, he never came to the school for giving option.

However, this court is not entering into this controversy.

I direct the petitioner to approach the school immediately and give his option again. After giving such option the school authority will take appropriate steps within a period of two weeks thereafter.

The District Inspector of Schools, being the respondent no. 4, is directed to take immediate steps so that the revised pension can be given to the petitioner

within a period of three months from the date of receiving the papers from the school.

With the above direction this writ application is disposed of.
