This matter relates to the original jurisdiction of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Kolkata Bench pertaining to the core issue of the service of the petitioner with the Railway/Respondents.

Accordingly, this Court cannot exercise jurisdiction in a writ petition at all. However, in view of the extreme situation arising out of the ongoing pandemic, the Registry is directed to send this record to the office of the Central

Administrative Tribunal, Kolkata Bench, which may then be requested to formalise the record to enable the learned Bench to adjudicate.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.

WPA 6573 of 2020 stands accordingly disposed of as despatched.
