The petitioner's application for visa has been rejected because of an adverse police report. 2.

The petitioner submits that she has a valid passport and intends to visit a different country for which visa will be required.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents submits, upon instruction that, the petitioner failed to submit documents for the preparation of the Police Verification Report. 4.

Learned ASG submits that the applicant could not produce sufficient documents in support of her citizenship.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has all documents in support of her citizenship but she was not intimated about the

documents she is required to provide for obtaining the visa.

Be that as it may, the application for visa made by the petitioner has been closed and she will be required to file fresh application for obtaining the same. 7.

It will be open for the petitioner to make fresh application for obtaining visa. On submission of all relevant documents, the respondent authorities shall proceed to issue the visa in favour of the petitioner upon compliance of all necessary formalities. 8.

The communication made by the Assistant Passport Officer, Regional Passport Office, Kolkata dated 9th June, 2025 be retained with the records. 9.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
