Considering the urgency pleaded by the petitioner in CAN 5396 of 2020, the instant writ petition is taken up for hearing via video conference. Accordingly, the application being CAN 5396 of 2020 is disposed of.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in respect of a tender that was to have been submitted by 26th August, 2020 that he was physically prevented from submitting the same.

The learned counsel for the concerned Gram Panchayat submits that the tender process is over and the work has also been commenced and completed in part. The petitioner further submits that in respect of

future tenders, which have been floated on 16th of September, 2020 onwards, similar obstruction may be made with by his client.

It is made clear that in the event of any such apprehension the petitioner may approach the local police authorities for appropriate protection which may be considered in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

No order as to costs.

All parties are to act on a server copy of this order on the usual undertakings.
