Petitioner is aggrieved by the excesses inflicted upon by the private respondents. Although many issues have been canvassed in the writ petition itself, for the time being the petitioner has expressed his agony, particularly with regard to the insecurity faced by him because of the act and actions of the private respondents who had been interfering with the peaceful enjoyment of life and property of the petitioner.

State has submitted a report which reflects that number of criminal cases have been registered which includes Memari PS case no. 655/24, Memari PS case no. 883/24.

Since the petitioner is a necessary witness to the case and the jurisdictional Criminal Court is already in

seisin of the issue, petitioner will take out an application before the learned Court in seisin of the criminal case, the learned Court would call for a Threat Perception Report and pass necessary direction under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018.

The police authorities have drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of the BNSS, as such they would continue their surveillance and would ensure that no further untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 9029 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
