Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was falsely implicated on the basis of a statement made by a co-accused, who is in custody. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, keeping in mind the serious nature of allegation, anticipatory bail should not be granted. He points out that, the chargesheet was submitted on May 31, 2019 and since thereafter, the petitioner is absconding.

Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the complicity of the petitioner as alleged, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM 3494 of 2021 is dismissed.
