1. Alleged contemnor files an affidavit in terms of leave obtained by the alleged contemnor on August 14, 2025.

2. It transpires from such affidavit that, alleged contemnor was not holding the post of the District Engineer, Howrah Zilla Parishad on April 19, 2024. The order violation of which is complained of in the contempt petition was passed on May 19, 2025 when the contempt Rule was issued.

3. In such circumstances, contempt Rule issued as against the alleged contemnor is discharged.

4. CRC 11 of 2025 is disposed of accordingly. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
