The matter relates to payment of compensation on account of tiger attack.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent no.6 fairly submits that an order was passed by the Court on 11th July, 2019 in the earlier writ petition filed by the petitioner being W.P. 12055 (W) of 2019 directing the District Magistrate, South 24Parganas to hear the parties and pass a reasoned order. 4.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the District Magistrate has placed before this Court, copy of the order dated 20th August, 2019 passed in compliance of the order passed by the Court. However, there is no proof of service of the aforesaid order on the writ petitioner.

Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate to forthwith communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner.

It will be open for the petitioner to take further necessary steps in the matter in accordance with law, if so advised.

Copy of the instruction forwarded by the Chief Conservator of Forests & Field Director, Sundarban Tiger Reserve dated 18th April, 2024 filed in Court today is taken on record.

The instruction by the Deputy Field Director, Sundarban Tiger Reserve dated 29th April, 2024 is also taken on record.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
