Vs. The University of Calcutta & Ors.). The said writ petition was disposed of on June 17, 2022, giving the following direction upon the University: "In view of the stand taken by the University, I dispose of this writ petition giving direction upon the Registrar, Calcutta University, respondent no. 4 in this writ petition, to ensure that the Grievance and Redressal Cell comes to a final finding with regard to the seniority position of the petitioners within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order and immediately thereafter places its report before the Vice-Chancellor for further steps.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be denied by the University.

WPA No. 8087 of 2022 is, accordingly, disposed of."

No different order is called for in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition being WPA 8558 of 2022 is disposed of with the same direction upon the University Authority.
