1. Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record.

2. The petitioner's grievance that her Service Book maintained by the two schools viz.

Silut Basantapur High School, Purba Bardhaman and Bardhaman Banipith High School, Purba Bardhaman, required rectification as the leave obtained by her on the ground of child care has been erroneously reflected in such Service Book under different headings.

In fact, the representation dated November 25, 2025 for such purpose has also been made by the petitioner which is pending consideration before the concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.).

3. Mr. Jana, learned Advocate appearing for both the schools, submits that the requisites have been countersigned by the concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) and have attained finality. In fact, child care leave was availed sometime in the year, 2020.

4. It is true that the representation dated November 25, 2025, of the petitioner is pending consideration before the concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.).

5. The concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) is directed to call both the school authorities as well as the petitioner with adequate prior notice and grant them a hearing.

6. The District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) will pass a reasoned order upon hearing all concerned parties and dispose of the same by August 31, 2026.

7. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

8. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
