Case No.01 of dated 01.01.2022 under Sections 498A/302/34 of the Indian Penal Code (corresponding to G.R. Case No.02 of 2022) And (Rejected) In the matter of: Gulbanu Bewa @ Golenur Begum & Anr. ....petitioners.
Mr. Kaushik Chaudhury Ms. Busra Khatun ...for the petitioners.
Mr. Debabrata Chatterjee, Ld. APP Ms. Sonali Das ... for the State.
Petitioners pray for bail.
Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were initially granted anticipatory bail and thereafter on the basis of the rule issued, the anticipatory bail was cancelled.
Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. While considering the rule issued as against the petitioners, the materials in the case diary were considered. There are specific finding that all the co-accuseds stand on the same footing.
There are materials in the case diary implicating the petitioners in the incident. Therefore, we are unable to grant
bail to the petitioners.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.
C.R.M. (DB) 1277 of 2022 is dismissed.
