The petitioner seeks a direction upon the 3rd respondent, the Additional District Magistrate and District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Hooghly, for consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 28th April, 2022 seeking issuance of stock permit in his favour. It is submitted on behalf of the respondent that the 3rd respondent be directed to consider the representation within a stipulated time frame.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28th April, 2022 within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the above direction, WPA 8568 of 2022 is disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
