The contempt application arises out of an order dated 14th December, 2021 passed in WPA 17591 of 2021. It is submitted on behalf of the applicants/petitioners that the order under contempt has been complied with. The petitioner has received a copy of the order passed in compliance of the order dated 14th December, 2021, through electronic mail on 28th July, 2022.
The learned advocate representing the alleged
contemnors/respondents no. 1 to 3 hands over a copy of a bunch of documents containing letters dated 28th July, 2022, and 17th May, 2022 issued by the Special Secretary, Transport Department, Government of West Bengal, and a copy of the order dated 14th May, 2022 passed jointly by the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Finance, and Principal Secretary, Transport, Government of West Bengal, in support of the compliance of the order dated 14th December 2021.
Let such document be retained with the records. Nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the instant contempt application. The contempt proceedings is dropped.
The contempt petition, being CPAN 436 of 2022 is disposed of recording compliance.
