13.06.2022 Court No.13 Item No.78 AP WPA 8579 of 2022 Santi Metya Vs.

The State of West Bengal and Ors.

Ms. Gopa Biswas ... For the Petitioner.

Ms. Chaitali Bhattacharyya Ms. Sukla Das Chandra ... For the State.

Dr. Sutanu Kumar Patra Ms. Supriya Dubey ... For the WBCSSC.

The petitioner participated in a grievance redressal process after being unsuccessful in the revised process of recruitment to the post of Assistant Teachers in the Upper Primary Level in the State of West Bengal.

The entire process was being conducted afresh, at the instance of a Division Bench of this Court in the case of Rajib Brahma & Ors. Vs. State of West Bengal & Ors. in MAT 638 of 2021.

The petitioner claims that she could not attend the grievance redressal process for being unwell with high fever.

This Court notes that the process of selection conducted by the State after the conclusion of the initial process of selection was completed, has been quashed by this Court.

The petitioner was unsuccessful in the second process. It is only thereafter, that the petitioner was allowed in terms of the orders of the High Court to appear for grievance redressal. There cannot be any further choices given to the petitioner who was already hanging on a very thin line in this case.

In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
