Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record. Based on the application for effectuating compromise seeking appropriate orders vide CRAN 1 of 2024 has been filed duly affirmed by both the parties.
The revisional application has been filed for quashing of the proceedings of B.G.R. No. 2858/07 pending before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Alipore corresponding to T.R. No. 2167/2008 which arose out of Behala Police Station Case No. 271 dated 04.08.2007, under Sections 387/511 of the Indian Penal Code.
During the pendency of the revisional application the respective parties have settled their disputes as mentioned in Paragraph 3 to 12 of the application being CRAN 1 of 2024.
The dispute between the parties appeared to be private in nature without involving public policy.
The proceedings being B.G.R. No. 2858/07 pending before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Alipore corresponding to T.R. No. 2167/2008 which arose out of Behala Police Station Case No. 271 dated 04.08.2007, under Sections 387/511 of the Indian Penal Code is quashed. The instant revisional application and the connected application being CRAN 1 of 2024 are, accordingly, disposed of. Department is directed to communicate this order to the learned trial court immediately for information. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
